Sales isn’t a ‘one and done’. It’s building relationships and like business, relationships are a marathon, not a sprint.
Don’t be bland when you follow up, add some spicy sauce. Someone sent me a picture of a dog wearing a monocle today and it just made me smile.
That’s making a difference. It doesn’t have to be some grand gesture or hard hitting ‘aha’ insight, (although if you’ve got it, send that for sure!) Just making them smile can remind them you care.
Following up shows they matter to you. And you’re making it easy for them to do business with you.
It’s always about them. It’s never about you or your thinking about what they’ll say to you, about you, or whatever stories you’re making up.
Just follow up. Then follow up again. And again...you get my drift 💎
